These tasty succulent treats are well worth the trouble.

For kiddos who cannot handle refined sugars, this is a nice sweet treat that will not mess with attitudes or stomachs.

Simply slice some oranges thinly, and place them in your dehydrator until they are crispy. I usually put mine at about 140 degrees for 8 hours to start with. Then I check them and restart them if need be.

The end result is tangy, chewy, fruit slices that everyone can enjoy.
And do not discard those rind ends. Once they are dried you can grind them up in a coffee grinder for easy orange zest in baking.
