
One of the ways we are battling the over 100 temeratures during this flu season, is with a tasty treat.
This nice-cream is easy to make and contains no processed sugars, so it is guilt-free too.
Pumpkin Pie Nice-cream
Ingredients
6 bananas, peeled (frozen is good)
6 medjool dates pitted
2 cups of pumpkin puree
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup coconut milk (or other non-dairy milk)
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice or equivalent
Dump all ingredients into blender and blend until well combined. Pour into freezer-safe container. Cover and freeze. Enjoy.

This has been a balm to the poor kiddos whose fevers keep coming back. This picture is my littlest one munching away on it. (Yes, that is a fork, he is stubborn.)
